  • We take a habit stacking approach to diet and lifestyle change. So every new goal and plan that we recommend, we ensure fits into your lifestyle in a way that is going to work for you long term. 

  • Our practical, science-backed approach provides you with legitimate information that you can use long-term and keeps recommendations realistic. No cooking separate meals for different family members!


  • We create weekly meal plans and a recipe bank including hundreds of healthy, easy recipes to make your journey as successful and simple as possible.

  • We assess your nutrient intakes and needs, then provide you with personalised advice on diet change to optimize your diet.

Our Team

I am a NZ registered dietitian with a passion for helping people to reach their full potential and live a happy, healthy life. I take a whole-body and mind approach when I work with my clients and believe that food is only one area to address when it comes to our health and weight. After working in many different industries as a dietitian I created a cooking class business in 2018 called "Eat Up Cookery". We created vegetarian, whole-foods based, sugar-free recipes and taught classes throughout Palmerston North. From here I went on to work with people 1:1 for many years, before creating Uplift. I absolutely love working with my clients and seeing the progress that people make every week.

Outside of Uplift I have my incredible husband Scott and our 10 month old Belle. I love the beach, slow-paced days with my family, and am a huge fan of a long daily walk with a decent podcast!

I am an NZ registered Dietitian with over 10 years' experience.  I am passionate about helping people make practical and realistic changes to their nutrition to improve their health and wellbeing.  I believe living a healthy lifestyle does not have to be expensive or complicated and my role as a dietitian is to guide you through the nutrition minefield!

Our philosophy:

We don’t believe in a one-size fits all approach to nutrition; therefore, we tailor a solution to suit you. All recommendations, advice, and interventions that we provide are specific to your needs and preferences. You can rest assured that when working with a Registered Dietitian, you receive only accurate, science-backed information and advice. We take the ever- evolving plethora of diet information and create an easy to understand and follow plan, specific to your needs.


What kind of results will I get working with you 1:1?

Results will always vary person to person depending on goals, lifestyle, and health concerns. We cannot guarantee results of any kind but as an example, based on a summary of the data from those working with us 1:1 for 12 weeks- our clients had the following results:

  • 75% of clients saw an improvement in bloating

  • 100% of clients saw an improvement in energy levels with a significant average improvement of 20%

  • Our clients also experienced a huge reduction in irritability and improvement in mood by 71% 

  • Average weight loss of 8kg across 12 weeks

There is so much more to life than just weight loss- and we take a very holistic, "whole-body" approach to health while using science-backed advice and information to guide you. 

What is your diet advice? 

Our nutrition recommendations are backed by science, and are given based on your individual needs and preferences. There is nothing generic about what we do. We spend time researching your health, diet, and situation, then creating a plan specific to you.

You will not be given something strict that you don't enjoy. We focus on sustainable changes only.

Will I have to cook separate meals for my family? 

No way! This is a strong no from us- life is busy enough. Our weekly meal plans are delicious and tried and tested by many families. Your family members may need different portion sizes depending on appetites and nutrient/ calorie requirements- but all meals are 100% safe for everyone. These are not "diet" meals and I don't suggest to you any "diet" foods. ​

How much will I spend on food? 

We will not be telling you to spend money on expensive foods. You don't need to fork out for organic, "superfood claims" or specific brands. Our guidelines can work for any budget and we show you how to tick all of the nutritional boxes at the same time.
